Samsung was just minding their own business being happy about their Galaxy Nexus getting Jelly Bean and then Apple just hits them in the face with a ban. Just a couple of days after the judge, Lucy Koh, granted Apple a preliminary ban on the selling of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 she made Apple even happier by doing the same thing on the Galaxy Nexus. Samsung will probably try to appeal this, because the Galaxy Nexus is now the only phone with Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and could still be considered a compelling phone to buy. The patent the ban is for is on unified search that's linked to Siri. This ban is probably from the Google Now that lets you search by talking to it and it will respond to you. We personally think that this is completely stupid and unreasonable. Apple is stopping innovation by trolling around making money by suing companies that try to innovate, while Apple just does not want to innovate as much as them. Apple already used a patent to give some grief to HTC with their imports. We think that this is wrong to just use patents to make money instead of innovating and offering a compelling device.
