Samsung's lawyers made an extremely unpredictable (sarcasm) move yesterday by filing an appeal for the preliminary Samsung Galaxy Nexus ban that Apple made a couple of days ago. Samsung's lawyers are claiming that the ban is "inconsistent with the Federal Circuit's directive that market share losses must be substantial," and as FOSS Patents says, "attribute to the 'infringing feature,' not just the presence of the infringing product on the market." This appeal is a lot like the appeal Samsung made for Apple's Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ban that stopped United States sales of it last week. We here think that these bans are completely unnecessary and just a nuisance. These bans are just Apple's way to make more money and take products off the shelves without making a more compelling product and innovating more. Apple should just stop nitpicking patents, just mind their business, and work on making products that would wow us like they used to. These patent wars are just messing up and ruining the technology landscape by not letting companies put out great products, because of all these patents. We do understand that patents are to protect a companies good idea, but when they have broad, stupid, patents they just go around trolling products to make money.
