Android Jelly Bean 4.1 now coming to all HSPA+ Samsung Galaxy Nexuses


Do you happen to own an unlocked HSPA+ Samsung Galaxy Nexus? Were you disappointed that the Google I/O attendees received a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Jelly Bean already on it and your nexus still had Ice Cream Sandwich? If you are this kind of person, you can now rejoice because Jelly Bean is now coming to your unlocked Galaxy Nexus. Only a couple of days after the Samsung Galaxy Nexus sales resumed on the Google Play Store, Google pushed out this great Jelly Bean update to the masses. If you do own a Galaxy Nexus, keep your eyes open for a notification for the OTA (over the air) update. Those of you who own a Samsung Nexus S or a Motorola Xoom and still want your update, Google should get you that candied update pretty soon.     ok i need some advice. i want a smartphone and the most important thing for me is speed, what should i get?

      It depends on your network. I'll give you some suggestions, if you are on AT&T you should get the either the HTC One X or the Samsung Galaxy S III (the One X is a smidgen faster than the S III but they are pretty much the same). If you are on Sprint, get the Samsung Galaxy S III. If you are on T-Mobile, get the Samsung Galaxy S III. If you are on Verizon, get the Samsung Galaxy S III. Overall, you can not go wrong with the Samsung Galaxy S III on any network, and if you're on AT&T it is your choice between the One X and the Galaxy S III. I prefer the One X personally, because it has a better design than the S III and is slightly faster. If you are on a network that I did not mention comment your network.

      It also depends on the network. T-Mobile uses a HSPA+ network that is slower than LTE and HSPA+ is considered faux g (not real 4G). Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint use real 4G, LTE. Sprint only has a couple of LTE towns up, but they have really slow WiMax 4G that is even slower than HSPA+. AT&T has LTE in more towns than Sprint but less than Verizon. AT&T also has a large amount of HSPA+ cities, but they are known for having bad coverage. Verizon has 300 LTE cities ans many extended LTE areas. Overall, Verizon has the most LTE coverage, Sprint was the first to have WiMax "4G", T-Mobile has many strong HSPA+ areas, and AT&T has many HSPA+ areas and some LTE areas.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Ice Cream Sandwich update is coming tomorrow with Premium Suite

Is Gingerbread too dry for you on your enormous Samsung phablet? We have good news for you if you are that such of a person, because the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy Note is finally getting a cold, sweet serving of Ice Cream Sandwich tomorrow. Along with the usual features that come with Ice Cream Sandwich version 4.0.4, Samsung threw in the Premium Suite that came on the international version's Ice Cream Sandwich update. The Premium Suite offers big improvements in S-Memo and S-note, and S-note is now integrated with Wolphram Alpha.
